About Me

I am aware of issues affecting some learners which can and have over ridden their choice and chance of participating in education. My experience, knowledge and skills gained within my teaching career are necessary to implement resources to motivate such barriers and complex needs, including Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia as well as emotional and behavioural issues. Many learners I have taught have shown anxiety in their learning with a lack of confidence in their ability. I have found that by offering resources linked to a topic of interest, results in them immersing themselves in the task. It is with a great satisfaction that I have found learners are then more motivated and gain confidence in their ability by, developing skills to overcome their social and emotional needs and so achieve their goals.
