About Me

I am an experienced maths tutor, covering everything up to (and including) GCSE maths, as well as adult maths. I work with all ages and ability levels, including dyscalculia and adults. School or home educated, studying towards exams or working to improve maths skills, all students are welcome and supported. I have been tutoring since 2008, first home educating my own children and their friends, and then moving to tutoring other students, both within and outside the schooling system. I have successfully worked with a wide range of ability levels, from students who came for tutoring because they were afraid that they were going to fail in every subject, to the highest achievers. It often happens in school that students miss a key explanation, whether through absence or simply because the teacher has not ensured that they have fully understood before they move on, and from then onwards the effects of this will multiply.
